Dragon Farm Salon with Jeanne Dooley on April 19

“ON THE LEADING EDGE FOR PERSONAL AND SOCIAL CHANGE: DEFINING GENDER”

The Dragon Farm Salon on April 19 at 2 PM, at the Rockland Public Library, will feature OUT As I Want To Be director Jeanne Dooley, MSW. Through her own life experience, Jeanne is creating an intergenerational dialogue on what we mean by gender and gender fluidity. A social worker for 35 years, Jeanne has an impressive wealth of experience advocating for underserved populations in Washington and Boston, including leadership with AARP. Her private practice includes organizational and individual consulting. OUT supports and empowers lesbian, gay, transgender and questioning youth in the midcoast area.

Dragon Farm sponsors a series of salons in the Rockland Public Library Community Room. These gatherings are fascinating opportunities for women and men, interested in thought provoking conversation, to explore different topics or issues. Each salon is designed around an interesting woman and her work.
